The bench under Y Mountain

Homes on the Provo bench above Ninth East climb fast and look straight west across the valley toward Utah Lake. That west-facing view glass takes the full afternoon, and the lake reflects a second pass of low sun back up at it in the last hour before sunset — a doubling effect people notice as glare long before they notice heat.
