SunCrest and the elevation problem

SunCrest sits above 6,000 feet on the Traverse ridge, roughly 1,500 feet above the valley floor. UV intensity climbs a few percent per thousand feet, so a SunCrest window takes a materially heavier annual dose than the same window in Murray — and those homes tend to have the most glass.

The result is fading on a schedule people do not expect: hardwood bleaching within a couple of years, leather and textiles going patchy on the sun side.
