Sleek — Window Film Solutions
Fade protection

UV protection window film.

Ultraviolet light is the single largest cause of fading in floors, fabric, art and finishes — and it does its damage silently, over years, whether or not the room feels hot. UV film blocks it at the glass, before it ever gets inside.

Why Utah is harder on interiors than most states

UV intensity climbs with elevation. Salt Lake City sits around 4,300 feet, Park City above 7,000, and thinner atmosphere at those heights filters out less ultraviolet than it would at sea level. Add a high share of sunny days across the Wasatch Front and interiors here take a heavier annual UV dose than the same house would in a cloudier, lower state.

That shows up as bleached hardwood in the strip of floor the sun tracks across, a lighter stripe on a sofa cushion, and art or photographs that lose contrast on the wall closest to a window.

It does not have to change how your glass looks

Sleek Clear UV is essentially invisible once installed. It is not a tint and it is not a comfort product — it trades heat rejection away in exchange for being completely unnoticeable, which is exactly what you want on a storefront with merchandise in the window or a room where the view and the light level are already right.

If you want fade protection and comfort, every solar control film in the lineup already blocks 99% of UV as well. The clear product exists for the cases where you specifically do not want the glass to change.

What it does not do

UV film will not make a hot room comfortable. Fading is driven mostly by UV, but heat and visible light contribute too, and a clear film only addresses the ultraviolet part. If a room is genuinely uncomfortable, heat control film is the right call and you get the UV protection as a bonus.

Figures are industry-typical ranges for solar and Low-E window film, not a guarantee for your specific home. Actual savings depend on window orientation, existing glass, and local energy rates.
